Acnes are frequent skin decease, which is present with about 80% of adolescents or younger adults of both sexes, from 11 to 30 years. Research in dermatology in last few years contributed in a large scale for understanding of the process of origination of the acnes, and along with that, therapeutical possibilities have been widened.
What is mutual for every form of acnes and what we especially want to point out is that all above mentioned types of acnes can be treated and should be treated. Examination and treatment is conducted by doctor specialized for treatment of skin – dermatologist.
Acnes usually last for a couple of years, and than completely disappears. Changes can be retracted with no trace or they can leave behind different kind of scares, which can sometimes be extremely noticeable. What consequences will acne leave on the skin depends on genetic predisposition, but also on the way the treatment is conducted and whether is conducted at all.
Unfortunately, very large number of young people who have acnes, as well as their parents, and even a certain doctors, consider that acnes shouldn’t be treated, that they should wait that they retreat on their own. This is completely wrong attitude.
The sooner you start treating acnes, the greater the effect of the therapy will be, and consequences avoided or expressed in smaller extent.
In order to get optimal results of treatment, it is necessary to introduce to the patient the nature of the decease, different therapeutical possibilities and length of treatment (for getting visible results it takes at least a couple of weeks, and for extreme improvement it takes a couple of months).
Arms your self with patience, be persistent, don’t give up.
